My journey as I sold WordPress plugins on CodeCanyon for over 10 years...

I suspect AI caused no more than 20-30% of the decline. The bigger factor probably is that CodeCanyon stopped being actively cared for by its owners...

How to fully automate WordPress website creation with AI

Depends what you mean by "website creation." If you mean creating pages + content, images, internal links, SEO metadata, that's possible today. The challenge isn't creating websites anymore. The challenge is creating websites that don't all look the same... In my experience, getting from 0% to...

Need Suggestion For An AI Tools Directory Site

The hard part is helping users answer questions like "Which tool should I actually use for my specific needs?" and "Why should I choose this over the 10 similar alternatives?", not scraping multiple listings, this is easy because of scraping. Yes, quite a few plugins can do this now. Generating a few paragraphs from a prompt is easy., but the more interesting tools can create full page structures with headings, images, FAQs, CTAs, internal links and Gutenberg. :) If you're planning to create lots of pages, I'd also make sure the tool...

    Connecting Claude to Wordpress

The interesting part will be when more plugins start exposing data to Claude. Especially after Mythos was banned today, I think we're going to see a lot more attention on open integrations and MCP-style approaches instead of closed systems.
