yeah rust is a great option. I'd imagine you could get more low-level and vanilla when coding in rust for solana projects. i started learning rust after javascript but i've never built anything with it yet due to my javascript addiction.

I built a javascript sniper bot and have some experience. If you can afford fast servers and are willing to pay a large enough validator tip (JITO etc) so your tx is included in the next block, you stand a much better chance of getting in and out of the trade before the shit hits the fan...
