Both are different, I prefer Ahrefs, traffics are more realistics and clients also ask for ahrefs statistics

SEO is more of a marathon than a sprint—unless Google decides to trip everyone at the starting line. :) but generally you can expect to see early movement in 3–6 months and more meaningful results in 6–12 months.

Sounds like you have done more SEO than google probably expected. :D Honestly speaking, I would wait a bit before making major changes. Sometimes google updates hit good sites too, and recovery can take weeks or even months. carry on good and unique work. It will be allrite.

Till today, google has not killed SEO for small sites (not completly :D) but it has definatly raised the bar. Quality content, and authority matter more than ever now.
