Google "play mp3 website", there are many ways to make it happen.
But - as Nerevar was trying to get across - music upon page load used to really annoy people and that's the reason you don't see websites like this anymore.
I've visited some pages recently and was annoyed at autoload video ads...
Gather long tail keywords related to your products and include them in your product page title and description.
Offer what people are looking for. Go for keywords that have low to medium competition.
Around 2010 I ran a site about a musician on a Sony label. I was just talking about the artist, had a nice little community - I ended up on 1st page, right under the artists/label sites.
I think I achieved this by being active across multiple social networks, leaving comments on blog posts and...
You still might get some visits if you get on the first few pages and have a great title and description.
Then you'd want to have a fabulous website to make the sales, that brought in enough money to justify your efforts.
I'm interested to here what the pros say.
That must be frustrating for you Adam.
Make sure the keywords you have chosen to rank are ones that people might use when they are 'ready' to buy.
Also, make sure you are spending enough time analysing what your visitors are doing, how long they are staying etc.

If you're serious there is a dude selling a clone for $50 at digitalpoint rright now. Another dude wants 10,000 bucks for his url/content.
This is a pretty new thing to me, I have only started researching it tonight after seeing the links from the ext. like sites on my home page.
