What secreat method they are using?
what about the domain? kw-domain? if its a kw-domain .. he just need enough unique content and a few hq-backlinks to be on top ... but if u say hes there for just a short time, you should wait some days/weeks and always had a look on him and his site-structure ... analyze him, make reports...- whit3h4t

If you had just 1 hour to build backlinks
one hour? ... the first 45min i would speak with the owner of a high-trusted site (there enough of them outside) and tell him why its good for him to link at me ... the last 15min i would save for my coffee and wait till the link is online^^ ...- whit3h4t
