They have their own copyright-free music library. I download all of those tracks and then add it to the background of my videos (lower the volume)

Always better to create a new channel. I know it sucks losing all of your subscribers + view count but it's the best way to do so. Is there another thing you can do with that old channel?

I previously used YT Monster for all newly uploaded videos. Gave it a big boost to start off and then let the algorithm take care of the rest. Nothing is ever going to beat organic reach on YouTube though.
