Spain right now is at the top of the list for torrent friendly countries. They have refused site takedowns requested by various countries including the US over the past few years even under the threat of trade embargoes. As for tracker source while TBDev is good Ocelot + Gazelle is better...

You need to pay if you want detailed info on your competitors traffic such as their backlinks. Checkout mozDOTcom/tools everything you need and or want regarding monitoring and seeing your competitors traffic sources can be done there.

Well obviously TPB has a good share and jizzhut is great but not torrents just thought I would mention it. Also weedpornandbeer is just starting up (it was formerly running in a full on darknet but has decided to come into the light). It will be awesome once it gets rolling.
