I've used it a bunch and got some nice results. Volume pinning with good keywords in the titles and descriptions was the trick for me. They have a free keyword research tool that helps show the volume for Pinterest keywords too.

One piece of advice for Pinterest ads: make sure your targeted keywords have high search volume. Otherwise it means that no one is looking for those keywords/things.

I use AutoPins on Pin Generator to generate new content regularly. You can set an interval like every 1 day and it creates a new pin based on the settings you give it with a new template and color etc. Beats repinning I think.
