Am I missing something? Why would you need more than one account and why would you need to "warm" an account? Is this some type of BH tactic? I can't imagine why FB wouldn't graciously accept your advertising money.

The answers to these questions are always the same, do some upfront work for free, show you are competent in the field and offer a fair price. People tend to like getting stuff for free and the psychology of reciprocity is one of the keys to converting potential clients.
