I ended up going with Sellix + Stripe, just because of how they forward the sale. Not really sure if I overdid it but I guess you can never be too safe with these things.

A small update for anyone who might find this thread useful: The Sellix plugin for Woocommerce doesn't work on subscription products. If you create a monthly subscription product with Woocommerce (with the Woocomerce subscriptions plugin), Sellix won't be available as the payment gateway...
