i can't add the email if my current password is forgotten, adding an email requires the "Current Password" to process through

*UPDATE* i tried logging out of my facebook app, but when i tried to log back in it was just an icon of my profile picture and once i tapped it it automatically logged me in, which i'm glad it didnt lock me out. but the problem is that i still have my current password forgotten and i am trying...

so i re-installed messenger, because i don't wanna get locked out of my account on the facebook app. i tried to "forgot password" and that's what its giving me, literally blank
