Just by looking at the specs, the Acer PCs have better processors. An i3 is pretty slow. So you might want to stick to the i5. However, the Acer with the Core2 Quad also has some good punch to it although its an older CPU. I think you should google CPU BENCHMARK and check out the CPU benchmark...
