Is Reddit showing up in Google search regularly for you still?

they dont show up on non-google search engines as often, the drop in AI-citing traffic, is what is causing reddit to require forced logins for some browsers, other than forks.

Has anyone noticed Reddit becoming a much bigger traffic source lately?

seems like most of it was from AI posting/reposting .

Does Reddit detect copy-paste comments, clean browser profiles, or missing cookies?

if you repeadtly just copy and paste the same comment over and over, its going to look like spam.

Why do niche subreddits often feel more authentic than massive communities?

large subs, believe it or not tend to be filled with bots, spammers, mostly propaganda, and its mostly fake engagement. niche subs are more curated to a smaller group and its also easier to sus out potential botting and spammers. small subs have next to no spamming/bots, because they have a much...

Is the Massive Wave of Reddit Bans beginning?

they lost so much traffic from banning, that even AI isnt scraping thier site anymore, forcing them to force logins now.

Is the Massive Wave of Reddit Bans beginning?

many things spamming, botting is the most common thing people are getting banned for. the other is tos violations about saying things you shouldnt, or its being misconstrued, and also "over-reporting" other people.

Lesson For All: Reddit does NOT Ban IPs in 99.9% of Cases

they get used to serial ban evaders pretty quickly. i think for normal users, you only need to wait a certain amount of time and then create another account, preferabally with a obscure fork browser, and new IP adress(and avoid the same mistakes)

Reddit is now forcing users to log in to read their posts (terrible for a parasite?)

apparently they rolling it out slowly, so it wont cause backlash, its almost complete though. plus they are already figuring out how to bypass ublock filters in the mean time. i had a feeling the huge drop in traffic, and the lack of AI scraping was due to them banning so much content.

Reddit is now forcing users to log in to read their posts (terrible for a parasite?)

they are rolling it out slowly. tried using old reddit redirect they more or less removed that ability on some mobile browsers, not all of them. the only way is to currently view reddit using an app if you dont want to be nagged.

Why is reddit so strict now?

also requiring login(and them more aggressive logins like with meta accounts) to view parts of the site. they are rolling it slowly so people wont notice til its too late.

    Testing Reddit's New Filters Together.

that is thier intention now, that they got rid of so many irl users last year, and they are slowly rolling out the forced login popup to get people to sign into an account, so thier data can be scraped for AI.

Ban Evasion for NSFW content accounts

i dont know for spam users, like this. but for a normal i waited a year+ and used a obscure firefox fork browser and just made a new account, organic use. havnt seen it getting shadowbanned yet. on another forum, another user mentioned they waited a long time before making another account. also...

My Next Big Prediction for Reddit: Within 6 months many Marketers will be wiped out . Low effort spammy accounts with low quality writing. Done.

i notice thats more likely to happen for normal users, if they participate the large subs(any of the subs on the main/front page is likely places to get banned), niche subs might be more useful.

    Dead subreddits

there are semi-moderated/barely ones(you wont get banned from the sub because theres barely anyone managing it, but i still frequent those as its a niche, i do encounter dead ones, but those will likely alert the adjacent subs(related subs) if you were to try to take over. for a time several...
