Do you stop just before reaching the 1,000 limit or do you go all the way until you can't follow anymore? Think it might make a difference in how Twitter sees your account?

Was talking about the daily follow limit and its 'reset' time. Also, the total follow limit -- initially anyway -- is 2000, not 1000.

Basically, my principal issue is: can it be tuned to scrape users who've posted/retweeted in less than the past two days or 24 hours? Can we fine-tune so it scrapes folks who've tweeted past few hours or minutes? That would make it more responsive and maximise chances of a follow-back.

Looks like a solid program. Just wish I'd be able to scrape users based on them retweeting a recent tweet. For example, a celebrity tweets something, and the program will automatically start following everyone who retweeted that. Any advice on how to do something like that?
