I'm impressed that this used to work.. When I dl something of torrent or newsgroups, I would never visit a site to get acces to a password by doing a survey.. but I think there are a lot of crazy people that do..

Most people I know, including myself, have like people said above different companies for domains and hosting. I have my domains at GoDaddy (cheap) and my hosting at HostGator. Just change the DNS and you are all set.
