Looks like you're posting some very strong content (good). But I think it's fair to say that while many people will "like" something, it's a pretty small percentage that actually "follow" - that's my experience anyway.

I'm no expert, but I have noticed that certain images and subjects do better with likes/comments than others. Maybe someone has done some research on that, but again... I'm no expert.

I get DMs all the time from people I don't follow - it doesn't work with me (I just "decline") but I suppose maybe it works with some?

Agreed it's the same with me - I always "Decline" messages from users I don't know using obviously throwaway accounts
