Yeap, I got 10k a day for a week, then just 10-50. Are all those comments being caught by akismet? Because if not there's something wrong with your config -

You should installa Akismet to prevent more spam comments, now for deleting those comments maybe you should try to create a SQL query using IPs and executing it in PHPMyAdmin
