Yes, if it's for a keyword with practically no competition that no one else is trying to rank for. For example, I'd imagine it would be quite easy to rank for the long tail kw "purple elephant poot ramma lamma ding-dong" without any backlinks whatsoever.

Like as mentioned before, the only way to get a hands-on learning experience is to blow some $$ and split test campaigns to see what works & what doesn't. However, I'd recommend the blog on the Klientboost site to learn some theory and best practices as their articles are based on actual results.

Figure out which articles on your blog get the most engagement/readership by your visitors. Create a lead magnet that deals with the specific topic of that article, and offer it in exchange for their email. From there, you can create your own products to sell them, or promote affiliate products.
