I monitor the average position although I do not base myself only on that Clicks impressions and the performance of the landing page can provide more information as to whether the search engine optimization efforts have brought in valuable traffic.

I will be using Google Search Console for clicks impressions and average position third party tools are great for researching and keyword estimation but may not always give the same numbers i will always compare the dates and search types first.

I would normally pick DR 30 if the organic traffic is steady and the niche relevance is good DR is just one aspect to be considered so I would also take note of the traffic quality and the placement of the link would you make the same decision?

DR does not give the whole picture i would investigate whether the domain has any real organic traffic appropriate content and clean backlink history the use of that extension does not ensure better indexing or ranking. Has anybody tested these two domains with actual traffic?

I think spaces can still help but answering relevant questions is a better starting point for discovery it is possible to generate interest gradually through a focused Space with quality content and discussions. Is there any experience with growth on Spaces lately?

My suggestion would be to select a certain niche rather than pursuing whatever is currently popular there are many niches that can prove successful for content creation such as AI tutorials technology reviews personal finance etc. although competition and the quality of your content may matter...

Technical SEO proper structuring of the website and high quality content focused on low competition keywords and search intent would be my first steps to take in SEO then after ensuring that the website is good, I would create internal links and work on building backlinks how long did it take...

I would analyze traffic trends and keyword relevance instead of assessing the websites DR only not all traffic declines render a website irrelevant for linking i would try to find out the reasons for declining traffic first do you consider relevance more important than traffic?
