Its good to add specifics, so that the customer be more informed about what he or she is buying. so at the end of the day they cant say they thought it was some other product. that said, sometimes depending on the product you can leave a few out...
To answer your first question. No, you will have to prove that you can be a reputable seller. if you were reading earler post you would see that you have to sell an amount over a period of time to have those limits lifted.

I would say the whole thing is like hotmail though. hotmail had may of the features yahoo and gmail had before they updated to outlook. but all in all, all of them borrowed ideas from each other. eg outlook borrowed the more simplistic look and feel from gmail. the yahoo update is alittle...
