It really depends what your niche is. I get some email submits and purchases through my affiliates but I do not push very hard on Instagram. Basically just let followliker do the work because I've gotten a little bored with Instagram.

Have you thought about creating a new ig and using mentions to get some traffic? Then this won't harm your main accounts by losing followers. I was thinking about experimenting with this to get traffic to some of my products.
