Link directories and article directories...yes, they still work.

I usually look for <1000 EM's per month and check the competition from there. You can save yourself a lot of time this way.

Twitter is a complete waste of time...but it is good for indexing.

I did this because you can sign up for unique articles in the niche you want to publish in. If you do not see a category you want, suggest it through the contact form on the main blog of the site.
