Yes, you will get a lot of unfollowers if you were to change your niche. But it's not like you're going to lose all 18k. If you change it, you'll still have a lot of followers which would attract people who are interested in the luxury niche.

If you have a passion for fashion, then a fashion niche would probably best to monetize your account. I always see people posting outfits to the gym, you can have a mix of gym and fashion.

-Look at the follower to likes ratio -Look at comments -Look at interaction -don't buy an account that deleted all their photos. -If they're using hashtags, don't buy the account. (especially hashtags with follow for follow, likes for likes, shoutout for shoutout)

I'm a large fashion inspo account, and get my pictures from tumblr. Even with the best pictures, you won't get many likes with only 46 followers. Continue to post, and you'll gain followers and likes. I started from 0, posted daily, and now have 60k+ followers. It hasn't even been a year!

This could've been because Instagram had been deleting accounts. On days that Instagram is deleting, my likes tend to lower as well.

I feel you block inactive followers it would not enhance the engagement of your followers. It will make your account look better by having a more equal ratio of followers:likes. There are many free apps you can download that finds inactive users.

Find large accounts that are similar to your feed. If your feed is a lot of makeup, find makeup accounts that do shoutouts. If you do a lot of outfit of the days, find an inspo account. I have a 60k+ inspo account myself and have done shoutouts for many successful accounts that grew a lot.
