These kind of sites won't last long time. Because google says "Machine Generated traffic on your website is a kind of Spam Policy Violation". And these kind of spam hit site never gets back into SERPs (Organic).

I prefer maximum 1 KW per 100 words. However there is not a limit or required number for keyword stuffing. Sometimes stuffing keywords so unnecesariliy wipe out your site from SERP.

I dont think Google is refusing to index content just because it was written with AI, even if a human edited it. The bigger issue is whether the content actually brings something new or just repeats what is already ranking. You can edit AI content all day, but if there's no real value in it, why...

It may pass some link juice, but Google decides how much value it actually passes, and there's no guarantee of quick results. You never know how Google will treat it. :(

If I were on your place, I would definitely start doing backlinks for the website, but backlinks are not first, you will need to identify money pages of the website, and do keyword research and mapping for those, then plan the backlinks for keywords with a strategic ratio on backlinks anchors.

I recommend going for both, few backlinks of cheap quality, and more backlinks from high authority sites. Whis way your website will be crawled more, and from high authority sites you will get chance to rank better.

I say, backlinks are the backbone of SEO, Including AI Optimization, because there is a factor called page rank which says more links from different sites equals to more chances to appear in more search results (including AI Overviews).

I think tools without AI integration will have less value over time. Earlier, AI wasnt everywhere, but now it's in Windows, coding tools like Visual Studio, digital marketing tools, and much more. Everything is getting interconnected with AI.
