Need some program to edit code (like Atom)
VSCode for its versatility. If you're looking for programming languages' specific editors then i'd suggest Jetbrains Intellij for Java, PyCharm for python and Visual Studio for C#- tbdvl

I'd say it's javascript, it's the most versatile language, of course it doesn't excel in all areas, but just the fact that you should learn it once and use it to build anything is sick- tbdvl
