Hmm I have a couple websites where I use for example Car rentals New York, Car rentals, Car rental service New York I haven't run into any issues even though in almost all my pages I have the word Car Rentals.

A lot of content generally seems to be better from what I've seen. Google likes longer articles. I seem to have the best luck with 301'ing websites.

Really smart. I was using the way back machine on my expired domains and just reusing the content. I never really thought to just do this for any niche though.

I usually try to stay relevant but it's almost impossible to get enough relevant links to get any real rankings. Just use good links and try not to spam too much too fast.

I 301'd to my new site in the same niche and it worked perfectly. I have had my new site within a few pages of the old one for a few months now.

Also interested...looking to rank for websites all in the same niche, should I buy a pbn and create content all related to that niche? And how many and what quality would it take to rank into the top 5 for a medium toughness kw.

Sounds promising, also they seem to be right from everything I can tell.
