Why would you need to ask permission the fact that when they uploaded their video to YouTube and allowed their video to be embedded is already permission that they want the video to be shared other wise they would have disabled the embedded option.

You'll either have to become a flash guru quickly or you could try to do it with html5 and javascript. Either of which your going to have to be really good at to accomplish this. Or torrent a flash site that looks almost alike but still you would have to have adobe flash to edit it to your liking.
