Yes I am, I've seen this type of glitch before and usually it goes away if I don't touch the account for a couple of days. Also if you are OK with speaking in the phone I have called reps before end had them resolve this type of issue without problems, so that could be an option too.

If you have the asin number for the item you are listing it should be super easy for you to list on Amazon. If Amazon is making you jump through a lot of hoops like that then there must be a a reason. It might be the item you are listing or something having to do with the account.

He probably is lying but he also knows that ebay will side with him and that he can get away with this pretty easily. this type of situation is why selling digital goods is so tough on ebay.

OK it sounds like you are entering a phone number that is probably not the same format that PayPal is expecting for the country in which you are creating the account. If you are setting up a USA PayPal account you will need a number formatted like a USA number which looks like this: 3103692122

I would blame it all on PayPal and that the error is on their end and that you will work to resolve the issue (you wont, but its good to say). But like others mentioned banks will not ask. Just dont transfer drug lord amounts of money, and the banks will never question it.

What country is this for? Are you trying to create a USA account with a USA phone number? Ive never seen that error (a lot of others but not the one you mentioned). If you have a screenshot that could help too. I think we can figure this out with a little more info.
