Whois protection? Who cares? Who use real personal info? Just make a clean gmail.com email address, set it and done.

Namecheap have always some discount. Check out the 88 discount or wtf.. So many cheap domain endings (tld) there for 1$.

Tld is useless for search engine ranking.
