So I did actually find out that the phone number thing isn't an issue. Read the updates I posted in the thread for more info.

To my understanding, those are just spoofed web browsers. Temu seems to require usage of the app for referral links to my understanding

Update 2: Looked into emulator security and sure enough, there is simple emulator detection that I am absolutely certain Temu is using. If anyone knows how to bypass emu detection, please let me know as I think that is the last roadblock to overcome.

Update: I tried using my friend's referral link instead and it didn't ask me for a phone number (I assume links tied to my account had been flagged or something) but it still showed a message at the top saying I couldn't accept his invite due to "unusual or suspicious activity."

None of the free numbers work. I haven't tried Whatsapp yet.
