Update: Yesterday I got 5 clickbank hops and 1 order form impression. So far today I've gotten 8 hops and 3 order form impressions. No sales yet. CONVERT, DAMMIT, CONVERT! :) 75 forum posts so far.

Thanks for the advice. the first two days I started posting, I got 2 clickbank hops per day, the last two days of posting, I'm up to 3 a day. So not overwhelming but perhaps things are heading in the right direction... And I'm getting faster at posting. I just finished posting for today...

With the volume of google alerts I'm getting, I'll use any keyword I can. The keywords I have right now are almost all about 1-3 words long. I expect to think up more keywords as I go along. It's a work in progress.

Hi Meathead, Thanks for sharing with us. I'm having trouble getting enough google alerts. I get perhaps 10 actionable alerts per day. Is this something that I need to experiment with and plow through until I get more actionable alerts? (I've only been posting for 3 days - I've made 32 posts)...

I'm 2 days into this (so take this with a grain of salt) and am also having trouble finding good keywords. You might give the google keyword tool a shot. You might look for common phrases/keywords in the forum posts that you've already replied to. You might dig through the marketing materials...

Tips for getting past the X posts needed to post links: 1. Sell imaginary items if there's a classified section 2. If there's a word games / banal banter / jokes section, participate 3. reply "Nice!" or similar to other people's pictures. No idea if the forum admins will see right through this...

Is it ok to use a search engine like boardreaderdotcom to search for forum posts to reply to? It allows me to search for posts made in the last day. Or is there a reason to stick to using google alerts?
