I guess you need to ask yourself why you want the subs in the 1st place ? If you want to monetize them then you need real subscribers that are interested in what your video's are about and will buy your stuff if that's what you want to do.. I've seen a huge increase just by using watermarks...

Check the age of the domains that your trying to compete against .. PLUS authority of the pages and domain as this is a huge factor.. if your 2 month old site has less age, page authority and quality of backlinks then your not gonna rank.. Good luck
