Use GSA for a more diverse backlink profile, blog comments on their own wouldnt do much.

I use wac but it seems to be quite slow, will take a look at kontent kaboom as mentioned in this thread.

Does the site use the Arabic language? Things could get quite complex as you will have a hard time figuring their competition out.

There is risk in either case but I guess sometimes going for a less damaging risk would be a better option.

Just carry on with what you do and try building further tiers to your existing links. Normally though, I would recommend creating tier 1 on reliable properties that would last long, while using GSA on tiers2 and above.
