Nope. The quality of the video matters, but it's not the be-all and end-all. There are a few tricks involved. But yes, content does matter to an extent. Try submitting gifs again. Most likely, you were just lucky with your submission.

Ha, not really. It's one of the easiest ones. It truly depends on the video's content. I've been around it for years, so by looking at it, I can gauge how far I can take the video. Post your email so I can email you. Then delete it after. I won't quote it.
