Yeah the key word is find out. I know a channel that's been using distrokid for over a year now and they still havent dealt with any issues. I personally made $2k from distrokid and didnt deal with payments being frozen.

Another thing you guys are saying that's incorrect"the channel has to be monetized." No it doesnt. I've been using the copyright claim method for a while now with two different channels and none of them are monetized. It is true though that you need at least 1k subs.

That's not really how the copyright claim method works. You dont have to create any new channels.... The music channels on youtube are auto generated. That's all im gonna say.
