Actually it works when you add the number from settings, it won't work if you're using it during signup. So after signup you switch to GV and remove other number. I tested it today.

I tried multiple online sms services like smspva, pvacodes and none of them have numbers to verify GV accounts. Does anyone know who provide these numbers? I think google needs non-VOIP numbers for this.

I entered correct password many times, but still I tried to reset password but that is also not working.I never received password reset link. Error is same as the other person pointed out. HTTP/Unauthorized. It's problem with either Captcha or login itself.
