I'd go for freelance tasks. Just look around, spot what you like and what people need then do it. If you can't do it, then get a skill and do it. Some tasks will be fun and profitable, some will be boring and time consuming. But you'll get an intuition of what you want to do for rmoney.
You gonna pay one way or another. If you have money - you pay with money. If you don't - you pay with your time. When I started 15 years ago I had nothing but debts. But I was young, I had time and ability to work online 16-20 hours/day. It did pay back huge. But two years later :)
SEO is a huge field. There are so many things that you can do and so many niches you can try yourself in. I wouldn't recommend to jump from one to another. Take one or two and invest some time in it. Give it a chance.
Parasites is the fastest way with a proper software. But seriously, "minimal investment" and "competitive niche"? You will pay either with your money or your time.
