My thoughts exactly, i've see hacked sites ranking and they were flagged as harmful. I didn't have site of my own slapped with malware/hack penalty and I'm not sure exactly how this work but I also believe sites don't get deindexed, just flagged. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in...
Just searched in Google and I can't find the site too, it looks like they have been deindexed.
I did few quick checks and SEJ is not blocking google bot in any way...
I guess they're penalized or it's some google bug?
It'll be hilarious to see whitehat's reactions if it's a penalty. But even if...
Maybe. If you add noarchive meta tag Google will index the page but won't show link to the chached page in the search results.
But there is cache: operator and honestly IDk what will happen if you type cache:domain.com in google
Something more - you'll have to cloak so real visitors can't see...
Add noindex meta tag to the page(s) you want deindexed and be patient
Make sure to not block the pages in robots.txt because Google won't be able to craw them and won't deindex the pages
If you want your page to be indexed but not show cache then add noarchive meta tag
Serprobot.com and proranktracker.com are great. I'm currently using Serprobot since it's cheaper, was using proranktracker before that. You can't go wrong with any of these rank trackers
Yes, I've seen this. Google said this is a bug and if they're not lying this shouldn't affect the rankings. Most probably means your PBNs have been moved to mobile-first indexing.

Google penalty checkers are bullshit, all they do is check if the site/url is indexed and if it isn't they tell you the site is penalised.
I guess your aren't doing anything wrong, Google is very slow to index stuff lately (last few months?) so just be patient. Share your web 2.0s on social...
In your case buying directly from Majestic looks cheaper. DomDetailer might be better option if you want to check only small part of the list like 10 - 20K domains to see how it goes. Sorry for the confusion
Checking Alexa and archive is pointless at this point. You need to check metrics from Majestic or/and Moz (TF, Ref. Domains, PA, DA) to find some domains that look promising and only after that you can check Archive and link profile manually to see if the domains are good.
If i'm in your place...
