Check out the extension "Full Page Screen Capture" on Chrome Web Store from mrcoles. Been using this for a long time and it still gets regular updates and bugfixes, though I can't say I've ever ran into any issues with it.

Windows93's website (sorry can't post links yet) is probably one of the more creative custom built sites I've ever seen.
