I have the monthly subscription for Adobe Illustrator. The option to do a custom live trace is not accessible. (greyed out and not click-able) Is this an option in the full version only?

I have been looking around on the internet about hot sauce. I have seen lawyers posting that it is ok to pour a brands hot sauce into a botlle, label it your own and sell it as long as you do not mention it. Is this correct? I just cant believe it!
