Update: I was finally able to create an account with the above steps. Here are some "tweaks" to the above approach: 1. I've used a US-based VPN. 2. Now using a Google login instead of a random e-mail. I've had no problem for now.

I guess the nuclear option didn't work either. They banned the account in about 24 hours. I'll try with Static Residential.
