Check your css with css validator (google it). Debugging in IE sux hard, download "stylizer" and compare both sites. Use firebug to see it there's anything missing or any error. Plus... Warn your users to upgrade IE :P Comparing joomla to wordpress doesnt fix anything. lol. Sites VS Blogs GL

You should use sh404sef with .htaccess. It's easier to watch|change your generated links and avoid duplication. Just my 5cents :x
