Well, if you already have that router all you need to do is flash it with dd-wrt firmware. Here's the guide: https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_WRT54GL

Just go the easy way and get a router with mac address clone feature. Connect your modem and computers to it, clone your mac and you're done. As far as I know many TP-LINK routers support this feature out of the box. If you need more advanced settings, you should be looking at dd-wrt firmware...
