What're your opinions on AI Overviews?

Slight rant here but~ Recently had a discussion with someone on Google's AI Overviews. Turns out we disagreed with each other. Long story short, it didn't work out, and what their feedback was was that I: 'mentioned that Google wants to move away from search faster, but it's actually the...

    Google Veo 3 is crazy

This'll be pretty cool for the entertainment industry as a whole though, a much faster way to storyboard. Though we will have to prepare ourselves for the next tsunami of AI slop coming out. But, meh... is that any worse than that Elsa x Spiderman shit that's been here from long ago?

This time is serious, SEO is REALLY dying

I mean, won't AI still have to have a system to determine which content is the 'most' correct / appropriate to serve to the user? So 'authority' in itself wouldn't be dead, but the way you get it / the way it's determined might change. Currently, if memory serves, ChatGPT is using Bing's...

Did You Wish You Had More Time In A Day?

Now I wish I had less time in a day, so I wouldn't have read that exchange... Is this how @xReminisce usually is? o_O

    Do you trust product labels?

Depending on the product, and country, they do have some leeway in the reporting of certain metrics like calories, IIRC, they are allowed to mention anything <5 kcal as 0 kcal. Yes they do have those vitamins & minerals, just like how saying you have money when you have $1 to your name is the...

Using chatGPT for SEO for titles/bio/description?

Making them more clickable for users. What RichMedusa said is more or less the answer. 'will my target audience click on this meta title/description etc.?' is a good question to ask when coming up with meta tags. Also I noticed this is more for social media 'seo' so it's not my area or...

    It's the end for Google

What're we gonna call SEO now? Generative Engine Optimization? LLM Engine Optimization? Regardless, time to brush up on your Bing SEO skills, ChatGPT is by far the most popular AI Search Engine out there. Shout out to the 3 people who specialized in Bing SEO, looks like they were way ahead of...

Still no 2025 high quality automatic link building?

IMO if it's something everyone can do easily/without much effort then it probably won't be as 'high quality'/valuable anymore. After all those links are valuable for a reason.

Using chatGPT for SEO for titles/bio/description?

As long as the meta tags make sense/are relevant to the page they're talking it's fine. It would be better to optimize them more for user experience. I also wouldn't spend too much time to meta tags, there are more ways to get bang for your buck in terms of SEO performance.

100 grown men VS 1 blood lusted gorilla. Who wins?

Humans are still the best endurance hunters, combine that with the indomitable human spirit and a target, you've got a pretty good formula for success against a gorilla. But then if we assumed the 100 men were from anywhere (assuming 100 average men), I can see a reason for the gorilla would...

    How I think about SEO

Thanks! Yep was trying to keep it simple because I find that too many people are overthinking it. It's something you'll outgrow probably a week into SEO. :D

    How I think about SEO

This is not really a guide, just sharing about how I personally view SEO, not sure if it'll help you but hopefully it can give you a different perspective if you're having trouble understanding. Again, just sharing my thoughts, no real credibility other than having been able to keep a job...
