I have had both and the Air win hands down, in both performance and portability. My macbookpro ran slow and clunky compared to the air I have now, because of its solid state drive. Only downsides are not as much HD space and no CD drive. Both arent major issues though. Well worth the extra speed...

I have noticed the exact same thing! Sites with 0 backlinks, no PR are ranking #1 for medium difficulty keywords. And just like others have said, amazon, web 2.0's, really new sites, youtube are ranking really high. Maybe time to start not doing any backlinks

I also just started using fiverr a lot more. They have some great private blog network gigs on there. And definitely do one gig at a time and give it a week or so to see results and let the site settle into a new position (or not move at all), then you know which ones work so you can use it...

I use shoeboxed.com. Its free & you just forward the email receipt, upload a pdf or you can also pay to mail in receipts and have them enter them in. I just use the email forwarding option. Its really simple.
