Using GSA SER and article wizard is not whitehat buddy... As bart said, you need to make it as natural as possible. It is weird seeing a blog jump from zero to thousand links in a month... Especially if organic traffic for blog is low. So, I would recommend you to manually promote your blog...

That would definitely make sense. Ofcourse google likes more if you use their software. i don't think there is a huge difference(like 1st or 65th page), but some is. I mean, why not use it? It's very useful so I wouldn't risk removing it.
