That's the only signal you'll get. A demonetized channel still earns ad revenue if you are using copyright content that is an asset (video/music) in someone's studio CMS. The oid is the content owner / partner id who claims it.

View source on a video in that channel and do a search for `oid=` that is the identifier that ties the ad earnings to the CMS / Content id. It can be found in the json. If that exists the video is monetized and someone is making money.
