Onsite SEO is a nessesary part of SEO... when you think the onsite SEO is good enough you can start backlinking and see your own SERP results... Build up with that information...

As normally I don't check the number of results given by Google. I take a look at the websites on the first page (top 10 rankings) and check how they did there SEO to see if I make a chance.

You can create a new one by yourself when you are creative... The only things Google checks are: Name, address, and bank account... ;)

I second that and when you have some good #'s on the main keywords you'll get more visitors from "subkeywords"
