it depends on the amount of backlinks your website has. also if you want to speed up the process, you'd consider creation acc at bing webmaster tools and adding your website there.

imho seomoz doesn't have anything as convenient as ranktracker from seo power suite for checking the ranking.

imho, you can get a zenno poster, it's about $50 or so, and spend a little time to create templates for it. this should do the work

I use seo quake plugin for firefox, it works just great for checking the density

+1 to jennym If you got penalized for "having too many links with your keywords" (sorry, I don't remember the exact name for that filter), you should add some anchor diversity by creating links with "click here" and similar natural keywords.
