Earlier this week I found a free membership software called "MembersGear". I took a tour of the live demo, and it is actually really complete.
From what I can tell, it looks to be better than EasyMemberPro, and on par with, or close to Amember.
The catch is they they want you to purchase...
This is actually 100% true, considering this was a "work-for-hire". This means that they are actually violating your copyright if you decide to assert your rights to the design. This is true whether they paid you or not.
Unless you were an actual employee, or signed a transfer of copyright...
Honestly, I think you are okay. All that you need to do is provide some justification as to why people are giving you donations.
Have you ever considered contacting some of the individuals, with your business email address of course, and asking them for a statement which briefly explains...
I really don't think you have anything to worry about.
Just think about it. If it were possible to submit your IP address to be banned, why wouldn't all unethical competitors just produce a bunch of spam links pointing to your website, and then report your website?
Just out of curiosity, what will be the purpose of the blog network? Is it to build links back to your money site, or to push affiliate products? I think may be significant in determining which direction you want to go in.
